I have two questions:
1. Under VMS 5.1-B and DW V1.0, our customers application dies and
kills the window manager when they create a popup dialog box
immediately under their toplevel widget. Note that this works fine
when this is a regular dialog box. It is the popup part that kills
things. They are not a privilaged user when the window manager dies.
Is this a known bug under this old version? We're getting them VMS5.3
and latest DECwindows, but I'd like to have some idea if they're doing
something wrong or if it's a system bug.
2. They would like to have an overstrike mode in the simple text
widget. I haven't been able to find a why to switch between insert
mode and overstrike mode. Please tell me I'm missing something
obvious...

This is a known bug and is (apparently) fixed in DECwindows V2. -steve- | |||||
