I am currently associated with a project with some very aggressive deadlines. One of the requirements is a DECwindows interface to a front end form that a user will fill out. Knowing the current disposition of the DECwindows support under DECforms, my question is; has anyone done anything with writing a generic DECwindows form package? If so, would it be possible for you to contact me (probably off-line would be best), and let me know what you have done? I can be reached at DTN 445-6558 or VAXmail REDBRD::HARTMAN. Thanks in advance, Kevin H.

We have the same requirement for our process scheduling application. We don't want to resort to DECforms inside a DECterm window, but the only other solution seems to be to write the forms control. How many of us are out here re-inventing the wheel ? Maybe we could get together and come up with some specific requirements so that this hole in DECwindows gets plugged as quickly as possible. John |
