    I have a DECstation 3100, running Ultrix 3.2, and I believe DECwindows
    v2.0.
    
    Whenever I try to save the settings (under the customize option), my
    machine will log me out completely.  This only happened when I changed
    the setting...
    
    Is this problem a known bug?  Any help will be appreciated.

I'm not sure where your getting you version numbers from, (There is no such
thing as ULTRIX 3.2 combined with DECwindows 2.0). I suspect you are 
running UWS (ULTRIX Workstation Software, i.e. DECwindows) version 2.0 which 
incorporates ULTRIX 3.0.

If this is the case, then the problem you are seeing can be solved by 
upgrading to UWS 3.1. (i.e. its a known bug).

I'm sure that in his haste to get the right information to you,
the author of the response mis-typed the upgrade version number:
to set the record straight,
the currently shipping upgrade is ULTRIX V3.1 with UWS V2.1.

I Believe UWS 2.2 has also gone to SSB. This is an upgrade to the 
Workstation Software only and does not include the ULTRIX base operating
system.

    Sorry for the confusion.  What I have is Ultrix Worksystem 2.1.  
    
    Is the problem I am experiencing a known bug?  If so, are there any fixes?
