| The problem comes about because the standard Oracle link command tries
to link in the VAX C run time libraray (the logical ORACRTLA points to
it also), we fixed it by changing the file OLB$ORACRTL.OPT to point at
SYS$LIBRARY:VAXCRTL, and then didn't link it shareable.

| Be careful because they have a reason for having their own library and
not using ours. Something may not work, but I don't know what.

| Well, it didn't. But not becuase of any problems with using our C run
time library. It didn't work becuase we needed to link the
applications shareable. Note 1305 outlines the exact solution,
including relinking all the peices of ORACLE (yuck). Anyway, it works
great and we have it running on a MAC under White Pines...
