    I have been using the Capture Portion of Screen feature of the Session
    Manager for some time now to create DDIF images that can be imported
    into DECwrite.  
    
    Suddenly this feature will no longer work for me; instead, as soon as I
    have completed identifying the area of screen that I want to be
    captured, I am completely logged off the system.
    
    What's happened?

    I got the answer from the DECwrite conference.  With DECwindows V1
    there is a bug, that if the filename is specified incorrectly, you will
    be logged off the system.
    
    Hope this helps someone else.
