2050.0. "What does "Default" mean in the Print Options Menu" by PEACHS::MITCHAM (Andy in Alpharetta (near Atlanta)) Tue Jan 16 1990 14:16

Doing "Print Portion of Screen" from DECwindows Session Manager, gets
you to the Queue Options menu. If the Options... pushbutton is
selected you get a menu with various items labled "Default".

Though I'd be curious of the others, I've been asked specifically what
"Default" means as a selection under "Pass All Control Characters".
My guess is that it means default for the selected print queue. Can
    anyone confirm this?

On a related note, is there a means of making permanent changes to this
menu (ideally for each print format)?

    thanx,

Yes, I can confirm that.

Unfortunately, no. This type of customization is a goal of the DECprint
program. Once they've defined a solution, the print widget will follow suit.
