Hi, just a simple question (or not?): is it possible to install both, DECwrite German & DECwrite American, concurrent on one DECwindows-System? If so, how to call them differently? <>Armin<>

<<< Note 2029.0 by FRSTSC::ERLEMANN "Bedman strikes back" >>> -< DECwrite american & german >- I think you just install both variants and then define the specific language preference in the Session Mgr. customization window before starting up DECwrite. It's based on the "used to be" internationalization standard of re-directing uid files based on language preferences. To be sure, it'd be best to ask this in the QUEEN::DECWRITE Notes file. Yes, it's possible but the the DECwrite V1 installation procedure does not support it (you'd have to do it by hand). As Ken said please ask for specifics in the DECwrite conference (which is currently out-lunch due to a munged disk....) Pete |
