I recently added DECWINDOWS_PROGRAMMING to my notebook, but I am unable to
access it now. I get the following error messages when I try to open it.
Opening conference HARBOR::DECWINDOWS_PROGRAMMING
Error opening HARBOR::SHPLOG$DUA0:[NOTES$LIBRARY]DECWINDOWS_PROGRAMMING.NOTE;
as input
Error in device name or inappropriate device type for operation
No such device available.
Is there a new location?
Thanks,
Patti

| No, the problem is that node HARBOR hasn't had NOTES$LIBRARY: defined. The
VAX NOTES startup procedure probably hadn't run on the node when you tried to
get at the conference. If this is a continuing problem, contact the conference
moderator or HARBOR::SYSTEM.

| Notes access to HARBOR conferences has been flaky for a long time.
I've sent mail to HARBOR::SYSTEM a couple of times and never got
a response. Of course, when I get in I never remember to jot down
the moderator's names for the next occasion...
