Can the shape and size of my Icon box survive a  logout?? 

Is it also possible to program default positions for the new windows that I 
create. 

The first window in the topleft, the second slightly overlaying, etc 
etc,etc

	RE: .0 In VMS 5.3 DECwindows, the Icon Box size and shape can be saved by positioning the box, resizing it, and selecting Save Settings from the Mouse Button 2 popup menu. You can save the positions of the DECterms by starting them up with the CREATE/TERM=DECTERM command and specifing x/y coordinates. Read the docs for more info. mike
