    I have a strange problem logging in VAXstation 200 (6Meg)
    
    I am currently running VMS V5.2-1 (SSB). 
    
    After the system is rebooted and I login (to any account) and if
    I don't do anything until the Fileview and the 1 DECterm is started
    the mouse seems to be ignored - the pointer will move but the buttons
    appear to not do anything. 
    
    If I place the pointer (ASAP) on the Session Manager's Menu bar (on Session)
    and hold MB1 down until the menu appears I can release the button
    and the menu disappears as normal. Later, anytime that I press MB1
    the menu appears no matter where the pointer is located on the screen,
    If I move the pointer into the menu I can then select the Quit option
    and logout. 
    
    After this logins appear normal - in that the mouse and buttons
    work OK. 
    
    Any ideas on why this occurs? What further info is needed?
