    Hi,
    
    I am trying to get the Portability demo working under the Ultrix
    platform. I copy the portability.tar from the network and restore it.
    There are 4 files with in the save set namely, makefile, bike.dat,
    demo.c and port, which is very different from the VMS version. There is
    a script from the VMS version save set. I try to follow the instruction
    from that save set but it does not work on the Ultrix platform.
    
    Can anyone give me some pointers?

    Please say what kind of errors you see  when you run 'make'..or
    try to compile. Where did you get the program from?
    Is it supported (something that most people in here are
    familiar with), what version of UWS, and on what hardware, etc?
    
    You will get better response if you expalin your problem more
    carefully.
