Hi, I have been using the Swimmer and the Portability demos on the VS3100 machine and they seem to work fine. Now, I use the same demos on the VS3520 machine. The Swimmer demo is okay but the portability demo does not work. The windows appear on the screen but nothing comes out. I try to re-complie the source programs and re-link with the librarries but that does not work either. Can anybody help? Sorry for not looking through the note file for I am pressing for time. Thank you and best regards, Alec

I believe, (if I can remember the source), this is due to the fact that the portability demo assumes the default visual is pseudo, therefore it sets itself up so. The VS3520/3540's default visual is true color. The portability demo, last time I saw it, didn't handle tru color systems. Jeff |
