HELP (I'm new to Ultrix and DECwindows) System is a VAXstation II/GPX I've just upgraded to Ultrix v3.1/ UWS 2.1 I copied .Xdefaults from /usr/skel/.Xdefaults I've got no other applications running. I can create a UE window, but not a terminal window - I get a starting process "dxterm" then immediately an exit process message. I was running UWS 2.0 with no problems. Re: .0 I assume the /tmp/sm717.errs messages were for errors encountered by the session manager rather than by dxterm. I'm not sure why dxterm would be failing, especially since it worked for you in UWS V2.0. Did the size of your swap file change when you upgraded to Ultrix V3.1? -- Bob | |||||
