I was wondering if someone could help me. I am running clock
and fileview on the boot nodes. Everytime I run I have to type in
set display/create/node= , and when I do this I keep creating
WSA devices. I am up to about 40 of them and there is only to
people using this remote process. I was wondering is there anyway
to get rid of the WSA device or to minimize the WSA device, if I
decide to delete the clock and then readd it I don't want to keep
creating the WSA device.

On each boot node, just do a set display/create once. THen do as many set display/node=xxxx as you like. Should fix it... q

If you'd like the WSA devices to disappear when the process terminates,
then see also note 1634.2

With V5.3 of DECwindows, WSA devices created with a simple SET DISP/CREATE will go away when the process terminates. No more hoops to jump through to get the right thing to happen.
