1731.0. "Program that can Produce COLOR files to Print on LJ250" by COPCMT::RIIS (Bjarne Riis) Tue Nov 14 1989 02:39

Hello There,

Is there any program, that runs under the DECwindows environment, that
can produce color files for print on a LJ250.

The request comes from a customer , so it need to be a released product.
The only product I know about is RAGS, and as far as I know we can't ship that
to customers.

Hope you can clearify this issue.

Regards,
Bjarne

UTOX is an ASSET, DECchart .CHART files can be converted to color sixel with
the Graphics backend ( needs GKS runtime though ), DW scrren capture can make
color sixels.

Hope that helps,

Also, the DECimage Application Services V2.0 product that was shown
at DECUS last week supports rendition of color images for output
on an LJ250. Release of the V2.0 product should happen soon.
