I noticed that Hickory will have a new PostScript option for the CDA viewer. Will the tools that create PostScript files use the PostScript RMS filetype? The RMS filetype is the best way for an application (DWMail for example) to intelligently display the PostScript image. I think I know the answer but it is worth raising the question (issue, whatever). RDB

Hi Roger, fancy meeting you here:-). My understanding is that the PostScript file tag won't be there yet for Hickory (even if it is, it'd be a while before layered products start using it anyway). So, any application needing to recognize PostScript files is for the near term going to have to fallback on looking for "%!" on anything that looks like a text file. Mike | |||||
