Hello,
Does anyone know if the resources in /usr/lib/X11/app-defaults/
XSessionManager which appear to allow for password "aging" and
password generation, work? There are several lines which start
with:
*SetPasswordDialog.SetPassword...
(one of these lines is followed by: "Your password has expired.
Please enter a new password.")
and
*SetPasswordDialog.GenerateMayLabel...
I'm running UWS v2.1 and wondered if this is something used by VMS
alone or is there now a way for Ultrix to implement these features.

I found out that the resources which are used for password aging,
and password generation, are VMS specific. Ultrix has no intention,
at this point, to implement these features. In future releases, the
app-defaults file for the prompter should not be confusing in this
way.
