I have a satellite (VAXstation II/GPX) with 16 meg that won't start fileview due to this error "Fileview Stopped: No COndition Handler FOund" The boot node is a 6240 running VAX/VMS V5.2 any ideas or help would be appreciated, thanks, Tracy

try to have a look at the SYLOGIN.COM or the LOGIN.COM of your account. If VMS can't exit one of those straight to DCL, ie if you have a system manager menu called automatically with a 0=exit from menu, DECwindows will not be able to exit the LOGINs procedures and start the File View by itself. (I had the same problem with the default system manager menu called when login from the system account...) |
