I am trying startup up the decwindows process on a 785 so that the
satellites can run decwindows on the boot nodes because they dont have
enough memory to run it.
I changed the window_system parameter to a 1 and then rebooted the
system. When I try to startup decwindows it says that No graphics
on this system.
Then I try to type in Set display/node="......." but it says that
no such device is available. It is looking for a decw$display.
How can I go about running Decwindows process on the Boot nodes
for the satellites?

No graphics available is normal on the boot node. Don't forget to say
/CREATE on the SET DISPLAY command, which is your current problem.
Don't forget to authorize the workstation from Session/Customize/Security.
This has been covered before in this conference.
