Hello, I have been trying to load/display some bit map images from VUE using ROOT and get the message Quota Exceeded. I have upped the working set size and have also tried stopping all other applications that VUE has started but still get the error. Essentually I have a command file that executes a ROOT DISPLAY /FILE=GARFIELD.XBM Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance, Peter

I think the quota message is coming from the server side, not the client side... IE, it is unrelated to FileView quota usage, and is due to the server not being able to allocate enough mem for the bitmap. I've heard it happen to several people when they try to use a full screen bitmap. SO, AUTHORIZE won't solve the problem, SYSGEN might. Tom |
