1569.0. "Two problems during installation" by GLIVET::RECKARD (Jon Reckard, 381-0878, ZKO3-2/T63) Fri Oct 13 1989 08:14
1. In order to make the room I needed to install all the windows I wanted
(including programming support), among other things, I moved everything in
sys$help to dua1: and deleted them from dua0: (my MicroVAX II/GPX has two
RD53's). Well, VMSINSTAL wants helplib.hlb to be in VMI$COMMON:[SYSHLP],
where vmi$common is for some reason defined on my boot disk (why doesn't it
use sys$library!!!!!).
Anyway, I got a helplib.hlb does not exist "DCL help not provided for this
product". Does anyone know what Help I did *not* get?
2. I also got a "failed to REPLACE entry for xxx ... global page table is
full", where xxx was DCLTABLES.EXE and DECW$XLIBSHR.EXE. Everything seemed
to come up fine, I got my windows. Am I missing something important?

| The message about "failed to replace entry for ..." because the
global page table is full isn't fatal. The installation completes
fine. You should reboot your system when the install is finished
prior to letting your users on the system.
