    I would like to confirm the format the VMS documentation comes in
    on a CD.  I have heard that it is in Bookreader format.
    
    The underlying question is - Is there a way I can convert it from
    whatever it is in to Ascii?

        Bookreader format is produced via a special converter that works
        in conjunction with Vax Document. It's format is not readily
        convertible to ascii. May I suggest that you contact the Product
        Manager, Marian blumon::weisenfeld.
