    Hi,

    Is there any way to run FT2 on a V5.2 system?  We are running FT1 on
    some of our VS3100s with 5.2 but would like to keep up with the field
    tests.  Unfortunately we cannot go to FT5.3 at this time.

    Can we simply restore the FT2 decwindows savesets????
    
    Any suggestions??

	There is no easy way to run FT2 on a V5.2 system. All the files you need are contained in the savesets distributed with VMS 5.3FT, but you'll have to unpack the savesets and copy the ~800 files by hand to get them onto a VMS 5.2 system. The 5.3 Upgrade and Installation Manual has an appendix that tells you where all the DECwindows files belong on your system. We haven't tested running FT2 on a V5.2 system, but I don't know of any reason why it shouldn't work.
