I have VMS 5.1 and Decwindow on my workstation. I moved my account
from dua0:[shen] to dua1:[s_shen] (by exec authorize). But in Decwindow
fileview, it still points to the old directory (dua0:[shen]) even
if I create a new fileview window. The fileview should use the same
default login directory, right? What's the problems? How to correct
it?

That's an easy one. It even documented, I think.
Fileview will save (in it's VUE$PROFILE file) the name of the default
directory. You can do two things:
(1) If it has no customizations that you need, just delete the file and
restart Fileview. Fileview and recreate a new one, or
(2) If it does have customizations, then simply enter the new default
directory in the appropriate field and do a "Save Startup View"
under the customization menu.
In either of these changes, Fileview will start up fine.
