Here's the info portion of his code. I have re-written it in Ada if anyone
is interested.

2. Doesn't know if a toplevel window wants input focus or not. It will ask
the 'next' window to take input focus. If it doesn't take it, hit F5
again.

I did not respond to this note because although it says CYCLE, it is looking
for AUTOFOCUS. CYCLE allows you to switch input focus using the F5 key.
I do not have any objections to the code distributed to outside of Digital
as long as I am NOT considered responsible for maintaining it and answering
questions about it.
BTW, I have not used it for a while so you may want to check it out with
current version of DECwindows.

fine.

Then may be you know the author of AUTOFOCUS.

According to the AUTOFOCUS.C source file it was written by
Dave Burleigh. I couldn't find him in ELF though so have no
idea who he is.

1417.7 | He's gone | DEDHED::SPINE | Tom Spine | Thu Sep 14 1989 11:11 | 9 |
| Dave Burleigh is no longer with Digital, or so I gather from Note 120 in
DW_EXAMPLES. Reading between the lines in that topic, I suspect Dave was
a contract worker who had something to do with DECwindows courses and customer
demos.
In any event, he's gone...

He's a god. He stills appears from time to time. He generated quite a
few examples for X and the Toolkit to be used in training.
If you have taken the Programming with DECwindows course, he had a lot to
do with the training material.

| Hmmm...
I confess.
Not a god, nor a demon (contrary to the ill-chosen name of the
cluster I'm running on) either.
I am a consultant (or contract worker, or whatever), and so I
appear from time to time. Currently, I'm working on a Motif book
for Digital Press.
Cheers,
Dave
