1354.0. "INTRO TO DECwindows TUTORIAL MANUAL NEEDED" by SHRFAC::SMITH () Fri Sep 01 1989 14:19

I have been using DECwindows for almost ayear now. Recently I built 2 more
GPX's and added a second seat to my GPX, thus there are 3 new seats. There
are a number of people beating down my door to learn how to use the additional
seat on my GPX & I can't spend the amount of time helping some of the "slower"
learners get started. I couldn't find anything in the notes & I'd rather not
limit the access to 2-3 people unless I have to.

Is there an Introduction to DECwindows tutorial manual anywhere?
	Is it on the network?
	Suggestions?

Thanks,
Tom

    Tom,

If you haven't already found it, what you want/need is the 'Overview
of VMS DECwindows', AA-MG17A-TE, the 'VMS DECwindows User's Guide',
AA-MG18A-TE and the 'VMS DECwindows Desktop Applications Guide',
AA-MG19A-TE. These manuals, collectively shipped with the VMS V5.1
manual update, comprise the introduction to DECwindows binder.
Among these three manuals is more than a new DECwindows user could
ever care to learn, and in near-monosylabic prose.
