    hello,
    
    a customer which ports the software adalin to vms decwindows has
    the following problem:
    
    he allocates colors in the color look-up-table and uses them. for
    a short time (1 second ca.) the colors are correct, then they seem
    to be changed (overwritten) and fall back to the old standard colors.
    
    there is no other program running with allocating colors. could
    it be the server or any part of the window manager.
    
    do you have experience?

    the other problem, getting a x-11 event from a tablet connected
    to a async line is still not solved! of course i cannot plug the
    tablet where the mouse is, because the mouse is used,too!!!!
    
    if there is really no supp. for x11-events from asynch ports, then
    this is very poor. every cad applic needs that!!!
    
    could something be done with event flags...?
