Can someone please point me at a copy of the BITMAP utility that works under DECwindows??? I'am sure I've seen/read _somewhere_ that such a thing exists but a Search/Title="Bitmap" on DECwindows user,programming & examples conf has come up blank BITMAP (BTW) Is the utility that 'draw's a picture of a disk that shows you allocated/unallocated disk blocks...

1267.1 | I think there was a generic "DECwindows applications" note with DISKMAP and others... | KALKIN::BUTENHOF | Better Living Through Concurrency! | Mon Aug 14 1989 08:49 | 13 |
Anyway, since I happen to remember about this particular utility (the author borrowed my first name :-) ), I might as well answer... After DECwindows hit the scene, "BITMAP" was named to "DISKMAP" to solve the conflict with the standard X11 bitmap editor. You can get it from SMAUG::DAVES_BITSHOP:DISKMAP.EXE I believe that .OBJ and source files are also available there. For the record, the Dave in question is Dave Porter, also responsible for NMAIL. /dave | |||||
