How do you tell the debugger not to use DECWindows? I've using been $ DEASS/JOB/EXEC DECW$DISPLAY but now I want to debug a DECWindows application. I don't have the paitence to wait for the debugger to start up. A 16MB VSII/GPX is woefully inadequete for running the debugger.

Note that I really like the DECWindows version of the debugger, I just wish it were about 100 times faster at startup.

I've seen this before, and if my memory serves me correctly, if you do the following: $ DEASS DBG$DECW$DISPLAY you'll get what you want. -ric.
