There are a couple of widgets for network graphics display and editing (NetEd and
GoBe (Conferences @ CLT::GOBE-WIDGET & CLT::NETED-WIDGET) which may be of
interest to you.
I would also advise that you contact Terry Smith of ASDS (NETMAN::SMITH - who is
the Product Manager for Matterhorn), and get info on his product.

Would NetEd and GoBe be available to sell to customers?

No...I think not. As far as I am aware, they are both for internal use only at
present. Check in the relevant notesfile though.

1226.4 | not yet available to customers | GOBBLR::MULHEREN | Kelly Mulheren, GObE & NetEd | Fri Aug 04 1989 08:24 | 7 |
| Currently, SDT Widget Set widgets (GObE, NetEd, Print, SVN) are not available
to customers. Product Management is currently exploring alternatives for
changing this but no process is yet in place. Stay tuned to the notesfiles
(e.g., clt::gobe-widget, clt::neted-widget) for future developments.

Unless a source code license is planned, I'm not sure the customer
would use it since it will be part of their product.

They have a package called Dataviews which does exactly the sort of
thing you are looking for. They have a demo which they give away
fairly freely which includes "live" network maps etc.

| Thanks for the info on Dataviews. Do they work on VAXes and other
platforms? Do you have some experience with it?

Yes it does work on other platforms - Sun in particular have been using
it as a demo for ages. I have only used it for demo purposes, not in
anger, but I suggest you get hold of the demo kit and try it.
