Anybody have a directory full of .RGB files for use with Xpaste
out there waiting to be copied?

See note 87.4 in the decwindows examples conf.. (KP7 etc) See 87.last for a pointer to an RGB_to_DDIF converter . . . While I'am here I've got DDIF conversions of all the files (pointed to from 87.4).. but I have'nt the disk space/band-width to make them generaly available... could some kind soul could offer them a permanant home (net accessable)... (56,000 blocks.. 55 files (including 36 sports illustrated girls!)) Any offers? Ps.. VANITY""::*.DDIF.. a few 'samples' of converted RGB files | |||||

Errr... its been pointed out to me that _all_ of the .DDIF's pointed to by .-1 are back-to-front... ie when VIEWed you are looking at the _back_ of a (transparent) picture . . Now for most of them there is no way to tell this (which is why I didn't know (I've never seen them 'live')) but SHASTA.DDIF has the Digital logo in it.. and of course its the wrong way round!! As soon as I can figure out a Transform aggregate I'll create a new SHASTA.DDIF .. the right way round (no sense in changing the others.. who's to know!).. I'll provide a corrected converter too Sorry! My excuse is that I only found out on Thursday that I'am going to be a (first time) dad!!.. (and I'am still trying to get my head straight) [EOB] | |||||
