    We've been dealing with a serious problem where the server doesn't
    properly release backing store memory even though we call
    
    	XFreePixmap
    
    		and
    
    	XFreeGC
    
    Eventually we are forced to reboot.
    
    Have any others of you run into this problem ?  We're interested
    in a workaround, since our tek emulator product wants to ship before
    v2 of decwindows, and hence we can't rely on promised fixes for
    the problem.
    
    Any workarounds any of you have found ?
