1089.0. "How to use LAT transport" by JOSHER::HERR (These ARE the good ole days) Tue Jul 11 1989 13:53

I would like to use the LAT transport to display on my WS. I have

o Set display/transport=lat ...
o used wildcards to define transport in security
o Started LAT on the client node

What should I do to let my client know I exist via LAT ???

Thanks

But seriously, as far as I know, LAT cannot be used as a transport at the current

What I need is the campanion to the XTERMINAL000 kit (in the IFT location) used
to test the LAT transport, XTDRIVER etc.

I pretty sure this exists cause there are some people doing performance testing
of DWT environments without any ...

I'm checking directly with them.

Interesting, I was reading this weeks digital review, and there was an
article about a company called KI Research from Nashua, NH who is planning to
use the Lat protocal to support xwindows for low cost terminals.
