I have a customer whi is allocating his own color maps and vwettimw he
crosses a window boundary the screnn flashes at him. I know that this has
been discussed somewhere else but I cannot fin the discussion.

	What he's seeing is the installation of the new colormaps. The way around this is to share colors between applications, either by allocating out of the default colormaps or by having several applications share a single private colormap. --PSW
