1054.0. "Focus: sometimes yes, sometimes no to msg. box" by AIDA::CARCANO () Tue Jul 04 1989 09:29
I have a dialog box with stext widgets in it. TAB is used to "jump"
from one stext to the next. The associated lost_focus callback is
called twice (I select one of them by checking the MODE field in the
event structure). From within the callback a modeless message box is
managed. What happens is that the message box sometimes has the focus,
sometimes not. I couldn't find any "rule" to describe this behaviour.
The message box is created with the UIL field take_focus = TRUE.
Why this happens? Is it correct or is a bug?
Do I need to force the focus with an XtCallAcceptFocus or something else?
Thanks in advance,
Matteo
