1045.0. "Popup dialog box stuff" by LENSMN::bonini (I was grepped by a zombie with a pipe!!!) Fri Jun 30 1989 09:01
I tried this as a reply to another popup note but that got nowhere so I
guess I'll try a topic.
Customer has an application which uses 4 main window widgets. He wants
to have a popup dialog box for each but the box is identical in each case.
Does he have to create and instance of the popup for each main window and make
it a child of the window it is to appear in? Or, can he define one instance
and use it in any of the windows.
Another interesting anomoly seems to occur when he causes this popup to
appear on an MB2 press. If he moves the mouse to the scroll bar in a widget
and presses MB2, he gets the popup instead of the default MB2 scroll action. I
guess that means the binding isn't per widget, correct?
Thanks for any assistance.
