1043.0. "Rotate Function" by BAHTAT::WILLIAMSH () Fri Jun 30 1989 05:48

    A customer has a Tektronix application which he wants to port to
    DECwindows. One of his main requirements is to be able to rotate
    images.
    Is there a rotate function?

    Regards,
    Helen

No.

You'll have to wait for Display Postscript.

1043.3VAX Image Services, perhaps?MDVAX3::ENDSLEYMJ Endsley, SWS @ St. LouisWed Jul 05 1989 09:567
    An uninformed guess here... Doesn't VAX Image Services (VIS?) have
    rotate image capabilities?

1043.4VIS does ROTATE among othersCLOSET::EROSSWed Jul 05 1989 10:308
    VIS does it - IMG$ROTATE - it works pretty well. However it requires
    a bit of munging before and after, as it doesn't take a straight X image
    but deals in a VIS "frame". For more info you might want to
