1038.0. "Where did my arrows go?

I received an audit message on the operator widow and I have lost
all terminal directional control ( left arrow, right arrow, up and
down, find, insert, remove, select, pre and next screen ). When I do
press these arow keys the pointer onthe screen moves. Can anyone help?
The audit message also modified some of the background and foreground
colors to have vertical stripes.

| Sound more like you need CTRL/F3 to get the arrows back into regular key
mode rather than mouse-simulator mode.
