Is there anyway to have a full functional "vi" in console mode? When I don't have Decwindows running I can not use "vi". It comes up in "open mode" and arrow keys etc. don't work. My customer wrote his own window manager in X11 and runs his application in his window manager. To do this he brings down Decterm , starts X11 and starts his application in his window manager. When he exists his window manager he is in console mode. Now if he wants to edit his program he has to start Decterm to use full functional "vi". I tried using "vi" after doing a shutdown when I am in console mode. It is the same situation- "vi" comes in "open mode" Thanks for help in advance mk

That has been a long-standing member of the console driver wish list. Jeff |
