1007.0. "Why 2 lost_focus callbacks in stext with TAB?
" by AIDA::CARCANO () Fri Jun 23 1989 10:59
When TAB is used to circulate among simple text widgets, it happens that the
callback associated to the lost_focus reason is called twice: why this?
Now, I read note 95 in the DECWINDOWS_PROGRAMMING conference where Rob
asks the same question and gives himself an answer that I don't understand:
he says that "...one callback is a NotifyGrab and the other is a
NotifyWhileGrabed...".
Why the lost_focus reason is separated into "elementary" events? And why this
happens only when the focus is moved using the TAB key and not when the mouse
is used?
Thanks a lot,
Matteo.
