Hellow,

there was an asset which allowed LAT-connect from a Workstation VWS-VT-
terminal emulation.

Question: 1) Where can I find it on the net
          2) Is there a version for DECwindows

    I think the notesfile to check is VSG::VWSLAT and the distribution is
    on PRNSYS::
    
    The ASSETS version, which is available to customers is VWS-ONLY, there
    *is* a internal version that works on BOTH VWS *and* DECwindows.  It
    is *not* available to customers (I think because it used a unsupported
    interface for DECterm).

If it's for a customer, contact the ASSETS office about availability. 
I have submitted a "clean" verison of VWSLAT for DECWindows which will
work with VMS V5.2 or later.  I don't know when it will be available. 

Internally, it's PRNSYS::SYS$SYSTEM:VWSLAT.EXE, and
PRNSYS::SYS$HELP:VWSLAT.HLB.

This version works on BOTH VWS and DECWindows, from the same image.

Note that the version on PRNSYS is NOT THE SAME as the one submitted to
Assets.  The version on PRNSYS DOES use a private interface to DECTERM,
and works on VMS V5.1.  The ASSETS version will REQUIRE VMS V5.2 or
later.
