    Anyone ever heard of MappedWhenManaged not working with an application
    shell created via CreateApplicationShell?
    
    Similar code works with a top level shell created with XtInitialize.
    I want to create a hierarchy of widgets in two different shells, and in
    my application code, manage and realize.  But I only what them to appear
    when an explicit Map is done.
    
    This seems to work fine with the top level created by XtInitialze. 
    MappedWhenManaged seems to have no affect on the other application
    shell.  Furthermore, the windows appear when they are mapped, before I
    even get to a realize!!!  Trying to realize, map or even unmap causes
    access violations, yet the windows ARE there!  ...weird!
    
    Sorry I do not have code just yet!  I am working on getting the
