Fairly consistenly, the session manager will be blown away from
trying to print portion of screen...  below is the session manager log file

Fairly consistenly, people will enter a new note asking about
this problem without checking that it is already discussed
in previous notes.

It's a known bug, fixed in the next release.  The
workaround is to "capture" instead of "print", then
print the file by hand.
