I have a customer interested in creating their own wigits. The current
documentation and examples, according to the customer, is not enough.
Is there any additional documentation and/or source code that could be
used as an example of how we do our wigits.

ELKTRA::DW_EXAMPLES has some fine examples of widgets.
Note 50 there has Steve Klein's VLIST widget
Note 125 there has my tiny widget
Note 141 there has my grid widget
The documentation, these examples, and patience should be sufficient to
get started.
