mouse not working under decwindows ( ULTRIX-32 ).
I am using Microvax II with QVSS card and round mouse and a monochrome
monitor. I have installed UWS 2.0 ULTRIX-32 software with DECwindows.
I get a logon display, I can logon but I cannot use the mouse ( key
board is operational ), but after logging I cannot do anything.
I tried to move the cursor using Ctrl-setup key but it does not move
the cursor.
Any suggetions.
or some one can give ma a pointer where I should look for similar
notes.

.1 is correct.
You must use the old Quadrature mouse.

I may be wrong, but I don't think there *is* one.
I have a lab QVSS machine which can be booted from either ULTRIX or
VMS. It's a pain to have to *use* the old mouse for ULTRIX, but at
least the two mice seem to tolerate each other's installation (the
corporate rat plugs into the monitor cable, and the roller-ball rat
plugs into the backplane). I've found that I do *not* have to
de-install the unused mouse when switching between OS's.
