751.0. "NOTEPAD "Customize" menu "Set Search Options..." item" by AITG::DERAMO (Daniel V. {AITG,ZFC}:: D'Eramo) Tue May 09 1989 20:35
When you use the "Set Search Options..." item (the only item)
on the "Customize" menu of Notepad, a small box comes up that
has only a toggle button for "Case Sensitive" and a "Cancel"
button. There is no "Okay" button to use after changing the
state of the toggle button. Giving the dialog box the input
focus and hitting return doesn't seem to do anything. The
window manager decoration for resizing the box is blacked out,
so I can't make the dialog box larger (to see if there is an
"Okay" button somewhere). [This was on VMS.]
Given all this, one might think it impossible to change the
state of the "Case Sensitive" toggle. However, just change
it and click on the "Cancel" button. The dialog box goes away,
and searches will use the changed setting of "Case Sensitive."
Perhaps the "Cancel" button can be changed to say "Okay". :-)
