| I can understand that your customer was disappointed.
There isn't much you can tell your customer except that we are
working on it. There will not be a PostScript previewer with either
VMS V5.1-1 or V5.2.

How bout the location of PS previewer for internal use?
I don't know where to start looking for the kit.

| This is a real stumbling block for us publishing folks. The PostScript
Previewer is an essential link in the process of converting existing
PostScript art to a format the BOOKREADER can use. I hope the lawyers
get a move on.

Thanks, we have that (blessed be the hackers...). We would feel a lot
more comfortable working with something that was official and
supported. At this point we don't even know if this patched version
will work on VMS 5.2. It's scarey to plan a document production
strategy based on things that you don't know for sure will be
available.

It ran just fine for me with T5.2-41S. Can't tell it it will under V5.2
as I am in the middle of the upgrade currently. I suspect it will.

| I think I tested the PSViewer briefly on V5.2-42N (the almost but not
quite SSB release) and it worked OK for me.
