When I create a Fileview window I get a pop-up menu that says "The default directory is not a valid VMS directory specification. There is an unrecognized character" with an acknowledge box." The Fileview window come up without anything in the menu strip and therefore I can't access anything other than terminal windows. ASP

Hi Andy, The only part I can see is "DISK$USER1:[PURMAL]". When I do an apply it works just fine. ASP | |||||

I deleted V???.VUE$DAT to get rid of the bad directory specification and that made Fileview work properly. It would be nice if FileView started properly even if the directory specification was bad. ASP |
