I have a customer who has a VAXstation 3100 running VMS 5.0T3-B2,
and DECwindows.
Does anyone know the syntax for XLoadFont on that version? I've
tried the file name, the font name (-Adobe-Curier...), the
font name with asterisks -- and still get a server error on
the XLoadFont call.
I can get them up-to-date software, but they are trying to be
ready for a show next week, so we need a short term fix.
Any ideas?

For one thing, it's "Courier", not "Curier".

| Have them write a small program which does an XOpenDisplay followed by
an XListFonts, and then printf's the returned value. That will give
them the font names in the syntax the server knows about..

| Or you could run xlsfonts from an Ultrix system, which does essentially what
.3 proposes with less work.
