575.0. "Two views get confused" by CSC32::G_JOHNSON (Just a nickle's worth of dreams) Tue Apr 11 1989 13:19
Two file view problems were reported by a customer.
First one is very strange. If you have two files views running,
and select a file from view #1, then set input focus to view #2
and pull down the files menu and select an item, e.g. show, the
show command is performed on the selected file from view #1. Is
this a bug or some (obscure) feature?
Second, and may be related. Writing a VUE$ application. In the
command procedure, the above can be observed as well, that is if
the procedure is run from view #2, the file selected in view #1
is used. ALSO, if a certain number of files are selected, the
get_selection count comes back ok, but then if the number of selected
files is changed, the count comes back with the ORIGINAL number
of selected files.
Any one have any ideas on either of these problems? Thanks much!
Greg...
BTW, I'm cross posting this in the fileview conference.
